Escrow Services

First Service offers a unique program for owner-financed properties. First Service Escrow is a payment-processing center for properties sold on contract. Owner financing offers an opportunity for individuals or corporations to hold the loan on property they wish to sell. This gives them the chance to earn interest on their assets. Buyers also benefit from owner-financed transactions. Many times a buyer does not have credit, which allows them to purchase a property in a conventional manner. Or, perhaps a buyer doesn’t have a sufficient down payment. Owner financing gives these individuals the ability to buy property and to own homes.

First Service collects payments and disburses funds on these type transactions. We also keep records of interest paid and received on the owner-financed accounts. First Service sends out year-end tax records for customers. Our customers appreciate this service and realize what a nice benefit it is when tax time rolls around. We also fill the roll of the third party who holds deeds and mortgages in safe-keeping.
